Welcome to Cor22 Ministries

Cor22 is a contemporary a cappella group, and Jesus is the reason we sing.  We have a burden for "church people" both young and old.  By the Grace of God, He has called each one of us, individually to step out of the comfortable "box" that we so often put around ourselves, each other, and most of all, God.  It seems we have all been guilty of "going through the motions".  Isaiah 29:13 says ..."Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men...".  He goes on to tell us what God thinks about this, and it is not a good picture.  Since we have been called out of that kind of a life by God's grace, our burden is to share one very simple, yet foundational fact... Jesus Christ is ALL you will ever need!  That's why we chose 1 Corinthians 2:2 for a motto, "For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.".  That is our prayer in our own lives as well as yours.  Keep Jesus Christ #1!
